Mr. William McClellan Wooldridge, 75, of Campbellsville, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, December 20, 2011at the Golden Living Center-Green Hill.

The funeral services for Mr. William McClellan Wooldridge will be conducted at 1pmCT, Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home. 206 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Ladies Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Joe Milby will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT, Thursday, December 22, 2011, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Friday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Jonathan Milby, Ryan Matthews, Robert Matthews, Josh Moon, Marlon Wooldridge, and Brad McCubbins.

William McClellan Wooldridge, Green Co., KY native (1936-2011)

Mr. William McClellan Wooldridge was the son of the late Carl Henry Wooldridge and Ora Bird White Wooldridge. He was born on Tuesday, October 13, 1936 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, in Greensburg, Green Co., KY. He was 75 years, 2 months and 7 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Russell Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a lifelong farmer.

Survivors include the following:
  • A son: Tony Wooldridge of Summersville, KY

  • Two daughters and a son-in-law: Melinda and Joe Matthews of Hardyville, KY; and Janet Milby of Summersville, KY

  • A sister-in-law: Pearl Wooldridge of Greensburg, KY

  • A special caregiver: Helen Dotson Wooldridge

  • Eight grandchildren

  • Four great-grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Mr. Wooldridge was also preceded in death by five siblings: Wathen Wooldridge, June Wooldridge, David Wooldridge, Earline Powell, and Catherine Wooldridge.
