Ada W. Stearns, 90, S. Hwy 619, Jamestown, KY, died Friday, December 16, 2011, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral service will be at 10amCT, Monday, December 19, 2011, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro Raymond Atwood and Bro. Chris Murphy officiating. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Sunday, December 18, 2011, at the chapel. Burial will be in Flanagan Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.

Ada W. Stearns, Russell County, KY (1921-2011)

She was born Monday, February 21, 1921, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Esto Dunbar and the late Francis Wade Dunbar. She died Friday, December 16, 2011, in Russell Springs, Russell County, at the age of 90 years, 9 months, and 23 days.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Stearns, Jamestown, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Darrell (Cory) Stearns, Russell Springs, KY; and Doyle (Melissa) Stearns, Greensburg, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • Two step grandchildren

  • Five great grandchildren

  • Seven step great grandchildren
