Christmas on CM: Have a special, Christmas memory or story?

If you have a special Christmas memory or story, why not share it with CM readers. Some ideas:
  • Letters to Santa: Christmas to many is about the Birth of Christ. But it also means the twinkle in a child's eyes with anticipation of toys. Whether the letters are from individuals or from school groups, we'll do our best to post them

  • Christmas Memories: Every year, CM runs stories of Christmases past. Memories from when times were hard. Memories of a first bike. Memories of making do. Memories of food. Memories of reunions. Some favorites in our archives will be linked. Some will be replayed. We'd like to add some new ones.

  • Christmas Plays and Events: Remember to post them. Many readers like to plan as many church and school events as they can work into their schedules. If your church, school, or organization is having a special Christmas program, please send. And remember to include times, dates, street number and address, and names of performers and photos with names. We hope to hear from groups all over the Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell and Taylor Co., KY, areas.

  • Free Christmas Cards: Christmas Cards, photos especially decorated from families, will be posted free,, courtesy of special sponsors, as space allows and as they fit ColumbiaMagazine.com needs and formats. We've already received a few. We hope you'll send yours. Faces should be identified.

  • Christmas Cards for Pets Yes. Send these. As space and time is available, we'll post them, free courtesy of special sponsors. We'll post as space allows and as they fit CM needs and formats.

  • Christmas Wishes from Businesses, Organizations, Elected Officials and Professional People are available on CM, as paid advertising from $9. up.

  • Christmas Lights and Displays: Some Christmas Lights photos are already posted. If you spot a special display, and you'd like to try your hand at photography. More and more South Central Adair Countians seem to be enjoying. So everyone will know how to drive and plan the best routes for Christmas lights, please include Street Numbers and Addresses for the displays. It's the courteous thing to do.

  • Christmas Poetry. Yes. Please send. We'll post as it is possible. Christmas just seems a perfect season for verse.

  • Christmas Front Page timed announcements: Yes. They're available on an hourly, special hour each day, daily, and around the clock basis. It's a big deal. But there hasn't been any big fuss about it. It's just another of the ongoing changes made in an effort to make CM a more effective option for you.

  • Christmas Special Hours and Closings: Yes, we'll be posting those, too

  • Christmas Classifieds: Many categories of CM Classifieds are free. Some have very small fees. All have a big impact.
And finally, your Christmas Suggestions: There are a lot of ways to share on CM. Maybe you can think of others. Your comments and suggestions are welcome using any Contact Form on the site. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! - from everyone at CM!
