Defense presents case in Jeffrey D. McGaha trial this morning The defense will present its case this morning in the trial of Jeffrey D. McGaha, charged with murder in the June 7, 2011 death of Michael Earl (Bull) Cowan, Larry Smith, The WAVE 92.17 FM, called to report this morning. "My understanding from our reporter on the scene, is that the trial could go to the jury as early as today," Smith said.
