WWII Veterans on Honor Board number approximately 1,514 The Honor Board in the Historic Adair County Courthouse has been updated at least three times by Mike Watson World War II Veterans number approximately 1,514 on the Honor Board, but I might be off a couple either way, based on my count from photographs. However, there are some names that do not appear and there a few names that I cannot connect to Adair County, but am sure they lived here. I have compiled a list and have sent several updates to CM in the past year. Many men from this area were working elsewhere when they joined service and this may be why some names did not make it to the Board before. It has been updated at least three times. It is my goal to compile as complete a list of all service veterans and CM has made such headway on this project. I laud all your efforts! -MIKE WATSON Comments re photo 42792 WWII Honor Board still hangs in Historic Adair Co Courthouse This story was posted on 2011-11-29 06:28:37
