Dear Santa Clause:--

I will attempt to write you a few lines this evening. this is the first time I ever attempted to write to dear Santa Clause. I want you to bring me a big doll and some candy, and a dress, a right nice little organ. Be sure and come. I will go to bed at seven o'clock. I am eight years old.
