Fay Bradshaw age 78, of the Glens Fork Community of Adair County, KY passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 12:48amCT, at the Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY after an illness.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 11, 2011 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY with Jessie Jewell the officiating clergy. Interment in the Grant Cemetery at Glensfork, KY. The family requests visitation after 4pmCT on Thursday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

She was born Thursday, February 16, 1933 in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Wellie and Susie Blair Grant. She died Tuesday, November 8, 2011, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 8 months, and 23 days..

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bradshaw on January 30, 2004.

She is survived by the following:
  • Four children: Brenda Lawless of Jamestown, KY; Dean Shearer of Jamestown, KY; Valerie Jean Arnold of Columbia, KY, and Dale Bradshaw of Glens Fork, KY

  • Two brothers: Jack Grant of Russell Springs, KY and Paul Grant of Glens Fork, KY

  • One sister: Mary Hadley of Glens Fork, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Megan Arnold, Waylon Bradshaw, Clint Bradshaw, Jason Shearer

  • Two great grandchildren: Macie and Hannah

  • One great great grandchild
Mrs. Bradshaw was a homemaker and a sewing machine operator at Russell Sportswear and Oshkosh for many years.
