Edna Shreve White, 87, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 8:47pmET, Friday, November 4, 2011 in Campbellsville.

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. John Loy and Gary Seaborne. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, West Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, Monday, November 7, 2011, at the funeral home.


Edna Shreve White, Taylor County, KY (1924-2011)

Edna Shreve White was the daughter of the late Hubbard Shreve and Susan Miller Shreve. She was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, Tueday, July 29, 1924. She died Friday, November 4, 2011 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 87 years, 3 months, and 6 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Soule Chapel United Methodist Church.

She united in marriage to Douglas White October 25, 1947.

Besides her husband, Doug White, she is survived by the following:
  • One son and one daughter: Danny White of Campbellsville, KY; and Jane White Phillips and husband Fred of Midland Texas

  • Three grandchildren: Michelle Cockrell and husband Kip of Weatherford, Texas, Danielle Bedingfield and husband Jeremy of Midland, Texas and Amber Ervin and husband Shannon of Brownsville, Texas

  • Five great-grand-children: Jonathan Bedingfield, Kymberly Bedingfield, Hunter Cockrell, Kaden Cockrell, and Isabella Ervin

  • Two nieces and one nephew: Janice Wilkerson, Diana Wilson and husband Gil, and Kenny Wilkerson and wife Jessica all of Campbellsville, KY

  • And many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by one sister: Ruby Wilkerson September 21, 2006.

Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to Gideon Bibles.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY in charge of arrangements.
