Walter Luttrell, Casey County, KY (1926-2011)

He was a member of a large, respected Casey County, KY family. He was retired from Warner Gear of Muncie, Indiana, an Army veteran, and attended Bethany Church of Christ

Walter Luttrell passed away Sunday October 30, 2011 at the Liberty Care Center. He was 85.

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Wednesday November 2, 2011 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Gerald Burton officiating. Burial will be at Luttrell Cemetery.Visitation is Tuesday from 6pm-8pmET, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.



Walter Luttrell, Casey County, KY (1926-2011)

He was born in Casey County, KY, on Wednesday, August 11, 1926. He was the son of the late Elvin and Minnie S. Luttrell. He died Sunday, October 30, 2011, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 85, 2 months, and 19 days.

He was retired from Warner Gear of Muncie, Indiana, an Army veteran, and attended Bethany Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a brother, Otis Luttrell.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise Gaines Luttrell of Dunnville, KY and the following:
  • Son: Gary (Brenda) Luttrell of Nancy, KY

  • Daughter: Linda (Bobby) Bray of Somerset, KY

  • Two step-sons: Larry Joe Coby of Missouri and Danny Eugene Coby of Tennessee

  • Step-daughter: Carolyn Smith of Indiana

  • Five grandchildren

  • Four great-grandchildren
  • And brother, Marlow Luttrell of Liberty, KY
