Richard Dale Wilson, Jr. of Campbellsville, KY died at 10:56pmET, Friday, October 28, 2011 in Bardstown, KY, as the result of an automobile/pedestrian collision in Campbellsville, KY.

Memorial services will be at 2pmET/1pmCT, Sunday, November 6, 2011, at the National Guard Armory, 1503 E. Broadway, Campbellsville, KY.



He served his country honorably in the United States Army National Guard and was a veteran of the Iraq War.

Richard Dale Wilson, Jr. was the son of Richard "Rick" D. Wilson and Melody Gertz Isom. He was born in Indianapolis, Marion County, IN, Monday, December 4, 1978. He died October 28, 2011 in Bardstown, Nelson County, KY, as the result of an automobile/pedestrian collision in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 32 years, 10 months, and 24 days old.

He is survived by the following:
  • His father, Richard "Rick" D. Wilson of Campbellsville, KY

  • His mother and step-father, Melody and William Isom of Indianapolis, Indiana

  • His step-mother, Kathy Martin of Campbellsville, KY

  • Five sisters and one brother: Jennifer Wilson of Franklin, Indiana, Michelle Wilson of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Brandy Cox, Meagan Cox, Nikkita Wilson and Cody Borders all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Paternal grandparents: George and Joan Wilson of Indianapolis, Indiana

  • And many other relatives and friends
