Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Kirkpatrick Pace, age 79, of Franklin, KY, formerly of Burkesville, KY, passed away on Saturday October 22, 2011 at the Medical Center at Franklin in Franklin, KY.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday October 26, 2011 at 1pmCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY.. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 5pmCT, Tuesday, October 25, 2011, until the funeral hour on Wednesday.

She was born in on Saturday, September 3, 1932 in Burkesville, Cumberland Couinty, KY, the daughter of Lawrence and Bertha Norris Kirkpatrick. She died Saturday, October 22, 2011 in Franklin, Simpson County, KY at the age of 79 years, 1 months, and 19 days.

She was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Pace, Sr. and her son, Robert Earl Pace,.

  • Her brothers: Elzie "Bean" Kirk of Marrowbone, KY, Lonnie "Boggie" Kirk, of Burkesville, KY, Lawrence "Duchie" Kirk of Glasgow, KY, and Phillip "Rabbit" Kirk of Burkesville, KY

  • Her grandchildren: Jordan Murrell Ellis, Tamisha Pace, Ikira Pace, Mia Pace, Zachary Treveial Pace.
