The funeral Saturday Oct. 22, 2011 at 10amET/9amCT at Joseph E. Ratterman and Son, 7336 Southside Drive, Louisville, KY, with graveside service at 11:30amCT, Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY. The visitation is 2pm-8pmET, Friday, October 21, 2011, at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son funeral home.

Lena B. Coomer Bryant, Adair Co., KY (1930-2011)

She was born on Tuesday, March 11, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Leslie Paul and Laura Annie Rowe Coomer of Adair County. She died Tuesday, October 19, 2011, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 81 years, 7 months, and 8 days.

Lena was preceded in death by her husband Arthur L. Bryant.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her son: Ronald T. Allen (Donna)

  • A daughter: Carolyn Murphy (Steve)

  • A step-daughter: Cathy J. Dile (Freddie)

  • Brothers and sisters: J.C. Coomer, Paul Coomer and Russell Coomer, Marie Montfort, Irene Warner, Victoria Coomer, Mildred Vaughn and Peggy Freeman

  • Nine grandchildren

  • And eleven great grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
