It was a comfort, just knowing RMH there if needed

'In 2009, my husband and I left Taylor County Hospital with the clothes on our backs heading to Lexington. Jayden's heartbeat was dropping and he would be a month early. When we got to Lexington, he was born the next day. He had trouble with his sugar, so we weren't sure if he would be able to come home when I did. Thankfully, I was a little more lucky than the King Family was and never had to use the Ronald McDonald House, but it was very close. I felt comfortable knowing that it was there in case I did need it." -JAMIE ISABELLE

I also would like to encourage everyone to help the Ronald McDonald house.

Thankfully, I was a little more lucky than the King Family was and never had to use the Ronald McDonald House, but it was very close.

I felt comfortable knowing that it was there in case I did need it.

In 2009, my husband and I left Taylor County Hospital with the clothes on our backs heading to Lexington.

Jayden's heartbeat was dropping and he would be a month early.

When we got to Lexington, he was born the next day. He had trouble with his sugar, so we weren't sure if he would be able to come home when I did.

Not having the money for hotels or food was a big problem at the time, but thankfully I was informed about the RMH.

So, we took one day at a time and thankfully we were able to both go home at the same time.

We are both doing great and thank God everyday. -JAMIE ISABELLE

Jayden, today. Mom Jamie Isabelle remembers that, even though she and Jayden and her husband didn't have to use the Ronald McDonald House, it was a tremendous comfort, just knowing it was there.
