Favors putting wet/dry issue to a vote Kristy Keene writes: I personally see nothing wrong with Adair County becoming a "wet" county. The fact that it could bring in new businesses to our county is a major plus. And I have to point out that if someone chooses to drive while drunk, they are going to do it whether they bought the alcohol here or not. Actually it seems like there is a better chance of them drinking on the road since it's a 45 minute trip to get some beer. We all could debate this until we are blue in the face, but the fact is we should have the choice to vote on whether we want this or not. -KRISTY KEENEComments re article 47595 The Negative Impacts of Alcohol Sales This story was posted on 2011-10-16 09:40:40
