Wookie will be on Puppy Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday 20112 An Adair County Dog makes the National Big Time By Peg Schaeffer News from Sugar Farms Rescue Every year on Super Bowl Sunday, Animal Planet has the Puppy Bowl. One of our puppies, Wookie, has been chosen to be one of the players. He has been adopted and his new owner will be taking him to New York on October 19, 2011, for the filming. Way to go Wookie! -Peg Note: As most everyone knows, Puppy Bowl is a Major Tv Event which features Puppies from shelters, such as Adair County's Sugarfoot Farms Rescue. "Super Bowl" is apparently some kind of big football game: ( Super Bowl/Wikipedia, at least after morning services and well before the BTU or Christian Endeavor starts.
