Glasgow, KY Outer Loop ribbon cutting October 6, 2011 By Kiersten Jaggers, Public Information Officer Kentucky Department of Highways, District 3, Bowling Green, KY BOWLING GREEN, KY. (2011-09-28) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will hold a ribbon-cutting for the Glasgow Outer Loop on Thursday, October 6, 2011, at 10amCT. The event will be held on the overpass of the newly constructed interchange on the Cumberland Parkway located at mile marker 15 and is open to the public. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at North Jackson Elementary School in the Jaguar Cafe. To access the cafe, enter the front doors of the school and proceed down the hall on the right approximately 30 feet. The event will commemorate the completion of two sections for the outer loop as well as the new connection to the Cumberland Parkway.
