The children were able to visit and feed the animals at the petting zoo, milk a cow, take a scenic hayride, pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, and play on the farm's playground. We want to thank Delaina and John Russell for volunteering their time and resources for our field trip. Home base Head Start students visiting were Blake Henson, Preston Wilson, Trevor Spencer, Shyanna Harmon, Amber Pierce, Danielle Schilling, Jaxton McQueary and Emi Montgomery. - JODIE STEPHENS This story was posted on 2011-09-28 19:10:29
