Mr. Jerry Mack Stapp, 78, Fox Lane, Jamestown, KY, died Thursday, September 22, 2011, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral service will be Saturday, September 24, 2011, at 10amCT, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Billy Dunbar the officiating clergy. Burial will be in the Wolford Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Friday, September 23, 2011, at the funeral home.



Jerry Mack Stapp, Russell Co., KY (1933-2011)

He was born Saturday, May 27, 1933, in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Jesse Wolford Stapp and the late Clyde Stapp. He died Thursday, September 22, 2011,in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY at the age of 71 years, 3 months, and 26 days.He was a concrete finisher.

He was preceded in death by one brother, J.P. Stapp.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Lisa Thomas, Russell Springs, KY; and Debbie (Gary) Grider, Jamestown, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Jera Wethington, Ryne Thomas, Kyla Thomas, Jessica Stapp, Jerrad Grider, and Eric Grider.

  • Two great grandchildren: Cole Wethington and Ahniya Tempel

  • Three siblings: a sister, Mila Hopper, and two brothers, Terry Stapp and Richard Stapp all of Russell Springs, KY
The Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
