Mr. Claves Leon Sneed, 63, of Greensburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, September 19, 2011 at his home in Greensburg, KY. He was 63 years, four months and five days of age.

The funeral services for Mr. Claves Leon Sneed will be conducted at 1pmCT, Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Temperance RD, Green Co., KY. Bro. Danny Baldwin will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT, Wednesday, September 21, 2011 and after 7amCT, Thursday until time of the funeral service at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Jonathon Sneed, Cory Sneed, Chris Sneed, Shelby Sneed, Steve Sneed, and Henry Sneed.

Mr. Claves Leon Sneed of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Hershel Sneed and Maggie Sneed, was born on Friday, May 14, 1948 in Jefferson County, Kentucky and departed this life on Monday, September 19, 2011 at his home in Greensburg, Green Co., KY. He was 63 years, 4 months and 5 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a former employee for American Standard in Louisville.

He united in marriage to Faye Pedro on June 26, 1971 who survives.Other survivors include the following:
  • Two sons and two daughters-in-law: Jason and Linda Sneed, and Darrell and Amanda Sneed all of Greensburg, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Devin Sneed, Chelsey Sneed, Corey Sneed, Jonathon Sneed, Lindsey Sneed all of Greensburg, KY, and Katlyn Young of Edmonton, KY

  • A brother and sister-in-law: Bert and Mary Jo Sneed of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two sisters and a brother-in-law: Virginia Jones, Montry and Bill Harris all of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Burial Fund to help with funeral expenses, which can be made at the funeral home.
