Henry Clay Faulkner, Green County, KY (1929-2011) He was a native of Metcalfe County, KY and the head of a large, highly regarded West Green County. KY family. He was the former owner of the Exie Store and was a member of the Maple Hill United Methodist Church Mr. Henry Clay Faulkner of Green County, Kentucky, son of the late Willie Faulkner and Sally Mae Finn Faulkner, was born on January 20, 1929 in Metcalfe County and departed this life on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky. He was 82 years, seven months and 28 days of age. The funeral services for Mr. Henry Clay Faulkner will be conducted at 12 Noon, Monday, September 19, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 201 S. Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Bro. Wilburn Bonta will be officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-6pmCT, Sunday, September 18, 2011 and after 7amCT, Monday until time of the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Clyde Taylor, Danny Taylor, Mike Matney, Gleason Matney, Ronald Matney, Barney Matney, and Wayne Matney.Honorary pallbearers: David McKinney, Ralph Dowell, Lynn Finn, Maury Finn, Glen Finn, Jay Taylor, Jim Taylor, and Robert Matney. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Maple Hill United Methodist Church. He was also former owner of the Exie Store.
