Dakota Meyer: Mayor Harris expresses pride

'It's a great feeling knowing such a good person as Dakota is being honored.'
-MAYOR MARK D. HARRIS

By Mark Harris

I can't even begin to put into words how proud we are of Dakota.

Watching the MOH Ceremony yesterday and hearing the President tell Dakota's story and seeing all the Military officials there just leaves me speechless.

I am filled with pride for Dakota. It's a great feeling knowing such a good person as Dakota is being honored.

We can hardly wait to celebrate and Honor him on October 2nd here in Columbia.

Thank You, Dakota Meyer, and may God always bless you!Mayor Mark HarrisCity of Columbia, KY
