Blackie and Nina Nixon ask that hummingbird feeders be left up Their birds will be departing Western Indiana soon, from Hillsboro International Hummingport, and may want lunch in Columbia, KY on a refueling stopover here as they fly South! Indiana hummingbirds have voracious appetites, as letter below reveals. Blackie and Nina Nixon write: PLEASE do not take your feeders down yet! We live in West Central Indiana and we are still feeding dozens of hummers every day. We think they are planning on stopping over in Columbia for lunch one day soon! Please don't disappoint them.
