Campbell, Ralph score twice in CU soccer 6-1 win Click on headline for complete story plus photo(s) By Chris Megginson / Campbellsville Sports Information CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - When it rains it pours. The old saying didn't only match the weather Tuesday night at Finley Stadium, but also Campbellsville University's offense in a 6-1 women's soccer victory over Union College. Megan Campbell put the Lady Tigers on top in the sixth minute of the game with her 25th career goal and first of her senior campaign. The assist came from junior midfielder Cassie Yannelli. That score remained through halftime, but the Lady Tigers poured it on in the second period. Less than five minutes into the second half, Jessica Ralph scored her second goal of the season off an assist from Shelby Pfeiffer. Yannelli teamed up with Campbell again in the 59th minute and then scored one of her own in the 68th minute off an assist from Ashley Corum. After Union slipped a goal on the board in the 72nd minute by Nikki Jeck, Campbellsville tacked on a pair of goals late in the 84th and 86th minutes of play. Campbell assisted Ralph on CU's fifth goal, while Emily Schultz helped Corum on the final score of the game. Ralph now leads CU in scoring for the season with three goals, while Campbell and Corum each have two. Brandie Hagerman had eight saves in the win, while CU collected 10 shots on goal, four of which were stopped by Union keeper Stephanie Burton. CU had one team save.
