Woman arrested, charged with theft of identity, other counts From Columbia Police Department On Sunday, September 4, 2011, officers from the Columbia Police Department conducted an investigation of a female soliciting money from individuals and area churches. It was reported that the female was out of money and was trying to get to Indiana to see her mother in the hospital. The female, identified as Rebecca J. Hodge, 46, of Lancaster, KY, was stopped in the limits of Columbia and was subsequently arrested and charged with theft of identity, theft by deception, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree- 2 counts. The arrest was made by Columbia Police Department Detective Tracy McCarol with assistance from officers Bruce McCloud and Charles Greer. This story was posted on 2011-09-06 13:01:58
