Single vehicle accident takes life of Marion Co., KY man By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY MARION COUNTY, KY - Trooper Christopher Saunders is investigating a fatal collision that occurred Tuesday August 30, 2011 at approximately 1:40pmET. William Hagan, age 75 of Lebanon, was operating a 2010 Cadillac traveling south on KY 49 approximately six miles south of Lebanon, KY. Hagans vehicle crossed the roadway into the northbound shoulder, struck an embankment before coming to final rest. Hagan, who was belted, was pronounced dead at the scene by Marion County EMS and the Marion County coroner. Trooper Saunders was also assisted by Trooper Justin Phillips, the Marion County Sheriffs office and Marion County fire and rescue.
