Guy Morgan, 90, of Burkesville, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at his residence in Burkesville, KY.

Funeral services will be on Friday, August 12, 2011, at 2pmCT, at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home, 304 North Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Paul Patton, Bro. Neil Tremblett, and Bro. Seth Denney officiating. Burial will be in the Burkesville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm-9pmCT on Thursday, August 11, 2011, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY.



Guy Morgan, Cumberland Co., KY (1920-2011)

Guy was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on Friday, December 10, 1920, to the late Lela Allen Morgan,and the late Fred Gordon Morgan. He died Wednesday, August 10, 2011, in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY, at the age of 90 years, and 8 months.

He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Scott Winfrey Morgan and one great grandson, Ethan Wyatt Morgan.

He was a veteran of World War II, former owner of Farmer's Feed Mill for over 30 years, and a member of Burkesville First Christian Church.

Survivors Include the following:
  • Two sons: Gary Morgan and wife Betty of Burkesville, KY; and Phillip Morgan and wife Sheryl of Burkesville, KY

  • Two daughters: Gail Hurt and Husband Tommy of Burkesville, KY; and Jeanne Claywell and husband Eddie of Burkesville, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren: Aaron Morgan, Anthony Hurt, Brent Claywell, Bryan Morgan, David Morgan, Elizabeth Griffin, Emily Allen, Gerald Claywell, John Morgan, Karen Morgan, Sara Morgan

  • Thirteen great grandchildren
  • Three special friends: Runell Grubb, and Neil and Heather Tremblett

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
  • Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Burkesville, KY in charge of arrangements.
