All occupants transported to Springview following Marion collision

All occupants were wearing seatbelts

MARION CO., KY - Trooper Christopher Saunders is investigating a two vehicle injury collision that occurred at 5:18 pm, at the intersection of KY 527 and KY 52.



Patricia Lewis, age 64 of New Haven, KY was operating a 2006 Chevy Monte-Carlo south on KY 527 when she failed to stop at the intersection of 52 and struck a 2008 Buick Lucerne being operated by Bonnita Winkler age 60 of Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Joe Peterson, age 84 of Cadillac Michigan and Ruth Peterson age 85 also of Cadillac Michigan were passengers in the Winkler vehicle. All drivers and passengers were belted and were transported to Springview Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.Trooper Saunders was assisted at the scene by Marion County and Loretto Fire, EMS and Rescue.
