Two flown to Vanderbilt, one taken to Monroe Medical Center, following crash Driver loses control, vehicle leaves highway and overturns several times By TFC Wm. Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY MONROE CO, KY (Rec'd at 3:02pmCT, 2011-08-01) Trooper Logan Richardson is investigating a collision that occurred at 9:2 amCT, 5 miles west of Tompkinsville, KY, on County House Road. Brenda Milam age 31 of Tompkinsville, KY was operating a 1998 Chevy Blazer eastbound on County House Road when she lost control of the vehicle in a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned several times ejecting Jessica Owen age 8 of Tompkinsville. Owen was not belted. Brenda Milam and Jessica Owen were flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Another passenger Taylor Owen age 10 of Tompkinsville was treated at the Monroe County Medical Center. Milam and Taylor Owen were belted.
