Jerry Holt is new president of Columbia Rotary Club Assumes leadership following two year term of George Kolbenschlag. Columbia Club is undergoing big changes as one of only 200 clubs of 32,000 world wide selected to participate in a pilot program now underway with Rotary International. Click on headline for story plus photo(s) From Columbia Rotary Club The Columbia Rotary Club had its "change of command" Monday night when George Kolbenschlag, who has been Rotary President for the past two years, passed the gavel to incoming President Jerry Holt. Also present for the occasion were Rotarians Hunter Durham, Ted Caldwell, JD Zornes, Mary Keltner, Ellen Zornes and Kaye Bowman. Beginning in August, 2011, Rotary will be moving from weekly meetings to meeting just the second and fourth Monday's of each month. The change is part of a pilot program being conducted by Rotary International.
