From Columbia Rotary Club

The Columbia Rotary Club had its "change of command" Monday night when George Kolbenschlag, who has been Rotary President for the past two years, passed the gavel to incoming President Jerry Holt.

Also present for the occasion were Rotarians Hunter Durham, Ted Caldwell, JD Zornes, Mary Keltner, Ellen Zornes and Kaye Bowman.

Beginning in August, 2011, Rotary will be moving from weekly meetings to meeting just the second and fourth Monday's of each month.

The change is part of a pilot program being conducted by Rotary International. The Columbia Club is one of just 200 of over 32,000 Rotary clubs World-wide selected to alter it's regular meeting schedule in the pilot program.
