Mrs. Ruth Helen Sharp Norris Walker (1929-2011) She was a member of a large, respected Cumberland Co., KY, family. She leaves 26 direct living descendants. She was a retired seamstress from Bob Evans, Sutton, and Osh Kosh B Gosh plants and was a waitress, a devout Christian, and a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ Click on headline for complete obituary and photo(s) Mrs. Ruth Helen Sharp Norris Walker, age 82, of the Kettle Community in Cumberland Co., KY, passed away on Tuesday July 12, 2011 at the Clinton County Hospital in Albany, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday July 16, 2011 at 4pmCT in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Randall McPherson officiating. Burial will follow in the Christian Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is after 1pmCT, Friday July 15, 2011 until the funeral hour Saturday, July 16, 2011. Mrs. Ruth Helen Sharp Norris Walker (1929-2011) She was born in the Kettle Community of Cumberland Co., Ky. on Tuesday, March 5, 1929 the daughter of Arnold Orestus "A.O." and Lula Bernice Jones Sharp. She died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, in Albany, Clinton Co., KY, at the age of 82 years, 4 months, and 9 days. She was a seamstress for Bob Evans, Suttons, and Osh Kosh B Gosh, a waitress, and a devout Christian and member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Reitus Taylor Norris and Rondal Denton Walker, her daughter, Amanda Ruth Walker, Brothers, Arnold Edwin Sharp and Randolph Sharp, her sisters, Gladys Mae Sharp, Bernice Alma Short and Sybil Elizabeth Key, her sons-in-law, Justin Garner and Danny Thrasher.
