Numbers we can change quickly: Adair County organ donor rate

Editorial Comment: Today is a good day to go to your local Circuit Court Clerk's office and become an Organ Donor. Complete directory information for offices in Taylor, Russell, Metcalfe, Green, Cumberland, Casey, and Adair Counties, KY are listed below. Registration online is simple, too. "Take a look at the organ donor participation rate per 1,000 for Adair and surrrounding counties. These numbers are approximate but based on other markers from 2009 data and the 2010 census should be accurate within +/- 3%.)," a researcher who asks to remain unnamed has written to CM.
  1. Russell - 261.0 donors per 1,000 population
  2. Cumberland - 246.2 donors per 1,000 population
  3. Metcalfe - 207.7 donors per 1,000 population
  4. Taylor - 194.0 donors per 1,000 population
  5. Green - 151.2 donors per 1,000 population
  6. Casey - 113.8 donors per 1,000 population
  7. Adair - 90.5 donors per 1,000 population
Anyone wishing to do their part may do so at a local Circuit Court Clerk's office. A list of the offices in Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell, and Taylor Counties follows:
