Springfield motorcyclist airlifted after avoidance crash By TFC Wm. Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY LORETTO, KY - Trooper Justin Phillips is investigating a collision which occurred at 12:09amET, 1 mile West of Loretto at the Jct of Ky 527 & Ky 52. Charles Sagracy, age 64, Springfield was operating a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle traveling Northbound on Ky 527 when he attempted to avoid another vehicle, lost control and came to rest in the roadway. Sagracy was wearing a helmet. Sagracy was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital for injuries sustained in the collision. Trooper Phillips was assisted at the scene by Marion County Sheriffs Department, Marion County EMS, and Loretto Fire Department.
