Loretta Harris Patterson Coomer age 51 years of Columbia, KY passed away, Friday, June 24, 2011 at 6:14pmET at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY after several years illness.

The funeral service will be Monday, June 27, 2011 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY. Interment in the Sparksville Baptist Church Cemetery, 9401 Burkesville RD, Columbia, KY, at Sparksville, KY. The family request visitation after 4:30pmCT, on Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

She was born Tuesday, February 2, 1960. She was the daughter of Hayward and Mary Holcomb Harris of Adair Co. KY. She died Friday, June 24, 2011, in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at the age of 51 years, 4 mohths, and 22 days.

Survived by the following:
  • Her mother: Mary Harris of Columbia, KY

  • Her husband: Dwight S. Coomer of Columbia, KY

  • Two sons: Danny R. Stotts II Columbia, KY; and David M. Stotts of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Heaven M. Stotts of Elizabethtown, KY

  • Three brothers: Carl Harris of Jamestown, KY Hayward Harris Jr. Columbia, KY; and Ronnie Harris of Columbia, KY

  • Three sisters: Mildred Pearl Hurley of Columbia, KY, Irene Curtis Burton of Columbia, KY; and Betty Harrison of Columbia, KY

  • Nine grandchildren
She was preceded in death by one brother, Kermit Harris.

Loretta Coomer was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Columbia and a homemaker.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
