Proud of southern hillbilly drawl and expressions Richard Raines writes: I, for one am proud of my southern "hillbilly" drawl and expressions. I know that I have a college degree, but I like in "my own little way" to let friends and aquaintances know of my heritage, whether it be from my expressions, or my Eastern Adair Co., Russell Co (with some Wayne Co influences thrown in) dialect of southern English. I deliberately let that show on the greeting to voice mail on my cell phone. You can give a pig a bath, spray it down with perfume, and after all, it's still a pig!! --Richard RainesComments re article 45144 Requests photo of aerospace train This story was posted on 2011-06-24 10:29:15
