Rachel Hunt Nelson, 71, of Louisville, KY formerly of the Mt. Gilboa Community, died at 10amET, Friday, June 17, 2011 in Louisville, KY.

Visitation will be after 12pm noon ET/11amCT, Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY. The funeral services will be at 2pmET/1pmCT, Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. John Chowning.Burialwill be at Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church Cemetery.



Pallbearers: Jordan Dial, Russell Franklin, Charles Jennings, Blake Penick, Kent Penick, and Barry Tindle.

Rachel Hunt Nelson was the daughter of the late James R. Hunt and Sallie Wilson Hunt. She was born March 19, 1940, in Taylor Co., KY. She died in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, June 17, 2011, at the age of 71 years, 2 months, and 29 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.She was owner and operator of Hunt's Resume Service in Louisville, KY.

She is survived by one sister, Helen Franklin Henderson and husband, Don of Campbellsville; aunt, Elizabeth Russell of Finley; one niece and one nephew: Kim Penick and husband, Kent of Campbellsville and Russell Franklin and wife, Katrina of Austin, Indiana; four great-nieces and two great-nephews: Brooke Weir, Jordan Dial, Kayse Franklin, Kari Franklin, Christopher Franklin and Katie Franklin; six great-great nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.The family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to funeral expenses and may be made at the funeral home.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
