David Lee Allen passed away Thursday June 16, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. He was 62.

Funeral services are 11amET/10amCT, Monday, June 20, 2011 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial will be at Whited Cemetery.Visitation is Sunday, June 19, 2011, from 5pm-8pmET/4pm-7pmCT, at the funeral home and Monday from 8amET/7amCT, until funeral service.



David Lee Allen, Casey Co., KY (1949-2011)

He was born in Casey Co., KY, on Monday, May 30, 1949. He was the son of Closkie Allen and the late Louise Edwards Allen. He died Thursday, June 16, 2011, in Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY at the age of 62 years and 13 days.

He was a truck driver and member of the Gum Lick Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Hamm Allen of Liberty, KY and the following:
  • Father: Closkie Allen of Liberty, KY

  • Son: David Kevin and (Jennifer) Allen of Liberty, KY

  • Daughter: Karla Cheryl Allen of Liberty, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • Two great grandchildren

  • And brother: Bobby and (Linda) Allen of Liberty
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and J. C. Allen.

McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville ST, Liberty, KY, in charge of arrangements.
