Stephen Arlo Withers, 60, Comanche Way, Russell Springs, KY, died Monday, June 13, 2011, of injuries sustained in an auto accident in Wayne Co., KY.

Visitation will be after 10amCT, Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY. The Funeral Service will be at 1pmCT, Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the funeral home. Bro. Tony Stephens will be the officiating clergy. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

He was born Monday, December 13, 1950, in Detroit, Wayne Co., MI. He was the son of Joyce Mildred Hadley Withers, who survives and the late Roley Withers. He died Monday, June 13, 2011, in Wayne Co., KY, at the age of 60 years, and 7 months

He was an auto mechanic and a member of the Jamestown Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Withers, Fraser, MI, and the following:
  • Two children: Rebecca Nicole Withers, MI; and Russell Neal Withers, Fraser, MI

  • Two grandchildren: Natalie Mae Langworthy and Izabella Love Newby

  • His mother: Joyce Withers, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three brothers: John (Kim) Withers, Michigan; Keith (Rhonda) Withers and David Withers, both of Russell Springs, KY

  • One sister: Cindy Burchett, Russell Springs, KY
Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
