Things are really looking good this morning. Buyers are already streaming in, and the selection is the best it's been since the 2011 season began.
  • Cait Bunnell, Coview Farms, Coburg, KY: Lemon Bread. White Bread. Wheat Bread

  • Darrell Bunnell, Coview Farms, Coburg, KY: All kinds of flowers and shrubs. FRESH PORK: Tenderloin, Sausage, and Pork Steaks. Farm Fresh Eggs. Green Onions. Mixed Lettuce. Yellow Squash. Peas. and BLUE BERRIES. He's also got plants: Tomato and Pepper Plants. Hanging tomato baskets, some with tomatoes already on them.

  • Myra Harrison, Yellowhammer Road Farm, between Fairplay and Glens Fork, KY: Green onions. and Lettuce. Pepper and Tomato Plants. HERBS: Thyme. Cutting Celery, Lemon Balm, Dill. Parsley. Sage. Mint. Prayer plants.

  • Betty Coomer, Tabor Community, Off 704: The Flower Lady has: Iris bulbs. Moss Roses. Sedum. Marigold. Cleome. Tiger Lilies, and maybe a few more.

  • Margie Rooks, Sano Community: New Potatoes. Turnips. Cabbage. Rhubarb. Turnip and Mustard Greens. Green Onions. Red Sweet Potato plants, White Sweet Potato Plants. Pepper Plants. Basil. Tomato Plants. Dill Plants.
The Adair Farmers Market is now open at the Adair Extension Office, 409 Fairground ST, Columbia, KY, for the season, each Tuesday and Friday, from 6am-10amCT. -Myra Harrison
