Mr. Randall W. Buckner, 69, of Campbellsville, KY, departed this life on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Taylor Regional Hospital, Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral services for Mr. Randall W. Buckner will be conducted at 10amCT, Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Pearl-Webb Cemetery. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT, Friday, May 27, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service.


Pallbearers: David Jacobs, Phil Lovett, Wyatt Haddix, Damon Buckner, Charlie Grimes, and Steve Woods.

Randall W. Buckner, Taylor Co., KY (1941-2011)

Mr. Randall W. Buckner of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Chester Arthur Buckner and Lora Catherine Dangerfield Buckner Holt, was born on Tuesday, September 9, 1941 Canmer, Hart Co., KY, and departed this life on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY. He was 69 years, 8 months and 16 days of age.

He was a retired employee for American Airlines where he worked in Fleet Service.

He united in marriage to Janice Tullbane on June 6, 1969 who survives.

Other survivors include:
  • Two daughters: Jennifer Buckner Haddix and her husband Wyatt of Louisville, KY and Kelly Buckner and her companion Phil Lovett both of Louisville

  • Three grandchildren: Emily Lovett, Zachary Lovett and Tyler Haddix all of Louisville, KY

  • Two brothers: James A. Buckner of Campbellsville, KY; and Charles Buckner of Canmer, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends

  • The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hosparus of Central Kentucky, which can be made at the funeral home.

    The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
