Glen Carter, age 80 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Cumberland County Hospital E.R., in Burkesville, KY

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 2pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Jimmy Powell officiatingBurial will be in the Mud Camp Cemetery.Visitation will after 4:30pmCT on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST,Burkesville, KY.



Glen Carter, 80, Burkesville, KY (1930-2011)

He was born on July 7, 1930 in Clinton Co., KY. He was the son of the late Easter Huddleston Carter, and Otha Carter. He died on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, in Burkesville, CUmberland Co., KY, at the age of 80 years, 11 months, and 14 days.

He was a member of Marrowbone United Methodist Church and a longtime sawmill employee and farmer.Survivors Include the following:
  • Two sons: Bobby Carter and his wife Rita of Burkesville, KY, and Billy Arms and his wife Rose of Scottsville, KY

  • One daughter: Glenda Anderson and her husband Lonnie of Burkesville, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Seventeen great grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
