It's raining, but the gang's all here. With more fresh produce - including strawberries! - and plenty of plants. Margie Rooks is here today, and Caitlin has that fresh bread the whole county's talking about.
Cait Bunnell, Coview Farms, Coburg, KY: White bread, Wheat Bread, and Zucchini Bread
Darrell Bunnell, Coview Farms, Coburg, KY: Produce: Strawberries and Green Onions. Plus. Fresh Egg, Pork Sausage and Steaks. Plants: Tomatoes. Peppers. Herbs. Watermelon. Eggplant. Marigolds.
Myra Harrison, Yellowhammer Road Farm, between Fairplay and Glens Fork, KY: All kinds of Plants for the gardener.
Betty and Donald Coomer, Tabor Community: Lots of Iris rhizomes. Calla Lilies. Orange Cannas. Donald (Vanis' boy) is not for sale.
Margie Rooks. Sano Community: Green onions. Rhubarb. Plants: Sweet potato plant. Tomatoes. A few peppers and a few cabbage and herb plants.
The Adair Farmers Market is now open at the Adair Extension Office, 409 Fairground ST, Columbia, KY, for the season, each Tuesday and Friday, from 6am-10amCT. -Myra Harrison

Fresh Bread at the Farmers Market today

Caitlin Bunnell from Coview Farms, Coburg is at the Farmer's Market with fresh baked wheat, zucchini, and white bread. Her father, Darrell Bunnell has fresh eggs and farm fresh pork, and fresh strawberries! There is a limited supply. The market is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 6am-10amCT.

The reports are generally in by no later than 6:30amCT, depending on how traffic is. Early bird shoppers get first priority, of course. She has a lot of really nice plants today, Tuesday, May 24, 2011.
