Funeral services are Sunday May 22, 2011 at 4pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ronnie Janes officiating. Interment in the Freedom Cemetery. The family request visitation after 5pmCT on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at the funeral home.

Thomas Maholm was born December 12, 1988 in Somerset, Pulaski Co. KY. He died Wednesday, May 18, 2011, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 22 years, 4 months, and 23 days.

He is survived by the following:
  • His father: Steve Maholm of Columbia, KY and his special friendBetty Carol Gilbert of Russell Springs, KY

  • His mother: Sharon Kimbler and her special friend., Lanky Graves of Tompkinsville, KY

  • A step daughter: Mirah Powell of Columbia, KY

  • Paternal grandparents: Thomas and Avis Maholm of Evansville, KY

  • Maternal grandmother: Mary Elizabeth Wilkerson Kimbler of Russell Springs, KY

  • Father in law: Michael Powell of Columbia, KY

  • Several aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of friends

  • His wife: Echo Powell of Campbellsville, KY
Mr. Thomas had served in the United States Army and the National Guard.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY in charge of arrangements.
