Columbia Christian group going to Alabama for tornado relief Items can be dropped off at Columbia Christian Church any day through Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Truck, group will leave on Thursday, May 26, 2011. By Terry White, Pastor Columbia Christian Church The Columbia Christian Church is sending a group of men to Alabama to help with the clean up and restoration of the devastation caused by the tornado that went through the area. They will be leaving early on Wednesday morning, May 25, 2011, and returning late Friday evening, May 27. They will be taking heavy equipment and other tools to assist the residents in cleaning and repairing their homes and property. The Columbia Christian Church is also collecting items to fill a trailer to take to Alabama. Items include bottled water, sheets, towels & wash cloths, paper towels, baby wipes and disposable diapers, toilet paper, work gloves, soaps, school supplies, shampoo, etc. Items can be dropped off at the Columbia Christian Church, 206 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY anytime through Wednesday, May 25. The trailer will be loaded on Wednesday, May 25 and hauled to Alabama on Thursday, May 26.
