Adair Hospital Board treats Westlake employees to lunch today Click on headline for introduction and photo(s) By Ed Waggener The Adair County Hospital District Board of Trustees treated the Westlake Regional Hospital staff and employees and guests to cookout today, Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Hospital Interim CEO Rick Brown estimated that approximately 400 would be served when the cookout is completed with supper tonight. The meal included grilled hamburgers and hotdogs from Board Member Bradley Irvin's smoker, set up in the hospital parking lot, chips and drinks, baked beans, and chocolate cake for dessert. Board Member Josh Harden worked with Irvin at the grill. Hospital Cafe supervisor Crystal Burton's staff prepared and served all but the grilled items inside, in the cafe. The board also includes Chairman Jim Evans, and John Nall, who were in attendance, and Russell Guy Perkins. All the food served during the day was furnished gratis by the board.
