Generosity of Adair Countians never ceases to amaze Thank You to Adair County from ACHS and ACMS Academic Teams From the Adair County Academic Teams The Adair County High School and Middle School Academic Teams would like to thank the people of Adair County for their generosity during Saturday's roadblock. Some much needed funds were gained due to the unselfish giving of the people of Adair County. The teams from both schools are trying to raise funds to pay for their trip to Wisconsin to compete at the international level of the Future Problem Solving Program International. This program encourages students to think creatively and critically, develop visions for the future, and assume leadership responsibility. Both school's teams scored high enough at the state level to be invited to attend the international competition this summer being held in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, where they will compete against teams from many different states and several other countries. With the high cost of registration fees, transportation, and lodging for the four-day event, any and all donations are appreciated. Individuals who would still like to contribute may send donations to Mr. Brett Reliford at Adair County High School, 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY 42728 This story was posted on 2011-05-11 09:28:47
