(Ad) Today is a great day to send in your upcoming Yard Sale

Grass Roots Merchandising Season is Here!

If you are planning a yard sale in the next two weeks of May, why not send it today? Posting early lets buyers plan their shopping to include your sale.

This past weekend the largest number of Yard Sales of the Year were posted. We heard from a few which went really well. Don Irvin sent a note early Saturday morning that he was putting out more items, including a Ford truck! We haven't heard how Saturday went for him, but we'd love to relate to others the outcome of these Grass Roots Merchants are about what has worked and what will work.

Yard Sales are more about cottage businesses working harmoniously than about competition. When we hear of people making special trips to the 7-County CM area just because Yard Sales are easy to find (with Street Numbers and Addresses), have good signage, and are professionally displayed, we know that this is an important part not only of entrepreneurship, but for tourism and economic development as well. CM is providing as much free publicity as possible. There's no obligation to do so, but we really appreciate it when advertisers do what Don Irvin did, and share their success with other readers, with others who might want to join the action.Remember: Include street number and street - complete address - and text only yard sale ads for individuals in Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell or Taylor Counties of Kentucky are free. (Business ads are available at a very reasonable cost. And special attention drawing formats are available at a very low cost.
