Tonight at Biggers: LWC Concert/Jazz Band concert May 3, 2011 The band is under the direction of Mr. Tim Allen. News from Lindsey Wilson College The Lindsey Wilson Concert and Jazz Bands will present their second annual Spring Concert tonight, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 7:30pmCT at the Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard DR, Columbia KY, on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College. Admission is free, and the public is invited. Among the works to be performed by the concert band are "Dreams and Proclamations,", by Roland Barrett, "An American Elegy," by Frank Tichelli, and others. The jazz band will be performing "Straight No Chaser," by Thelonious Monk, "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," by Hughie Prince, and others. Tim Allen, retired Adair County director, is in his second year of service at LWC. The Lindsey Wilson College Band personnel includes:
