Medication take back a huge success at Expo Over 30 pounds of medicine brought in for safe disposal Click on headline for story plus photo(s) By Rick Wilson We were well pleased with the response of people who came to dispose of their expired or unused medication. We collected 30 pounds of medicine and the oldest bottle dated back to October 1967. The bottle did not list the name of the medicine which was fairly common during that time. This year we conducted our program in conjunction with the Farm, Home and Garden Expo. I would like to acknowledge the many people who made the Medication Take Back program a success: Nick Roy, Mike Keltner, Wesley Jones, Tony Bragg, Todd Akin, Pee Wee Sinclair, Kevin Atwood, Harrison Moss, Terry Akin and the people who took time to bring in their medicines. Thank you -Rick Wilson This story was posted on 2011-04-30 19:00:09
