He was a member of a large, respected Russell County family, a truck driver, and a member of the Russell Springs Christian Church

Danny Dale Stapp, 68, Hwy 379, Russell Springs, KY, died Friday, April 22, 2011, at Jewish Hospital, Cincinnati, OH.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at 1pmCT, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main ST, with Rev. Carroll Egnew officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation is after 5pmCT, Monday, April 25, 2011, at the Funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Ryan Stapp, Josh Terry, Greg Stapp, Trent Stapp, Troy Stapp, and Vince Stapp.

Danny Dale Stapp, Russell Co., KY (1942-2011)

He was born on Thursday, June 18, 1942, in Russell Co., KY. He was the son of the late Jewell Holt Stapp and James Stapp. He died in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH, on Friday, April 22, 2011, at the age of 68 years, 10 months, and 4 days.

He was a truck driver and a member of the Russell Springs Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Blankenship Stapp, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Children: Vince (Ginger) Stapp, Florence, KY; Susan (Dwight) Terry, Trent (Sarah) Stapp, and Troy Stapp, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Seven grandchildren: Ryan, Allison, Josh, Tyler, Trevor, Cassidy, and Carter

  • Two brothers: Lester Stapp, Russell Springs, KY; and Walter Stapp, Mississippi
  • He was preceded in death by a sister, Clemma Anderson.

    Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
