Fatal crash in Clinton Co., KY, Sunday morning, April 17, 2011 Driver of car hit in head-on collision pronounced dead at scene. Death is second auto fatality in KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY, in less than 9 hours Details, other accident at Fatal accident this morning, Russell Co., KY By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Trooper Andy Olson is investigating a fatal collision that occurred today at 9:50amCT, Sunday, April 17, 2011, on US 127, approximately 4 miles north of Albany, KY. Ira Boles Dyer III, 33 years old, of Albany, KY was operating a 1999 Buick, southbound on US 127. Dyer crossed the center line and struck a 1994 Plymouth that was being operated by 78 year old Ina Edwards, of Albany Ina Edwards was not belted and was pronounced deceased by the Clinton County Coroner at the scene of the collision. Dyer had two passengers: Tyler Wright, age 8 and Ira Craig Dyer, age 7, both of Albany, KY. Ira Boles Dyer and Tyler Wright were not belted and were airlifted to University of Kentucky. Ira Craig Dyer was belted and was transported to Clinton County Hospital where he was treated and released. 30 year old Kenneth Bilbrey, of Albany, KY, was a passenger in the Edwards vehicle. Bilbrey was belted and was treated and released at the Clinton County Hospital.
